May. 24th, 2006 09:49 pmBeginning June 1st, I will be a valued employee of Ruffalo Cody in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. My "interview" this afternoon consisted of the guy telling me they wanted to hire me, their budget allowed for a certain amount and what amount of money would I accept for them to hire me. Basically, they asked me to tell them what to offer me.
And they did.
They plan on using my customer service and computer security knowledge to advance their business which, if I play my cards right (which I certainly don't see too many obstacles to do so), I could carve out a very nice little job for myself. Computer security czar, network security administrator, customer service trainer, etc. Best part, I will finally be able to use my skills and training for something more than that glorified phone jockey crap I was doing before.
Pardon me while I go wet myself.
